Terms of Service
Last updated: August 31, 2026
Qvently is a service operated by Oinhuu LLC ("Qvently", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Qvently, a platform for event booth staffing agencies to issue QR badges, capture leads, and manage worker performance at events (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who can use Qvently
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create an organization account. If you create an account on behalf of a business, you confirm you're authorized to bind that business to these Terms.
2. Accounts and roles
The Service has three types of users: org admins, who manage an agency's events, workers, and billing; workers, whose logins are created by an org admin; and unauthenticated event visitors, who interact with the Service only through a scanned QR badge. Org admins are responsible for the accuracy of information they enter and for the conduct of workers on their roster.
3. Event credits and payment
- Access to create and run an event requires an available "event credit", purchased in advance. New organizations receive a limited number of free credits to try the Service.
- One event credit unlocks one event with that plan's worker slots, plus unlimited leads and QR scans, for the duration of that event.
- All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases. Your purchase is subject to Paddle's own terms in addition to these Terms. Qvently does not directly process or store your payment card details.
- Prices are shown in USD and may change; changes will not affect credits already purchased.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Collect personal information from event visitors without a lawful basis or without honoring their rights under applicable privacy law
- Send spam, deceptive offers, or unsolicited communications through data captured via the Service
- Attempt to circumvent event-credit enforcement or access another organization's data
- Upload malicious files, or content you don't have the right to distribute (e.g. brochures)
- Use the Service in a way that violates any applicable law
5. Your content and data
You retain ownership of the event, worker, and lead data you create or collect through the Service. You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process that data solely to provide the Service to you. You are responsible for having the necessary rights and consents to collect and process the personal data of event visitors and workers.
6. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers — including Supabase (hosting, database, storage), Paddle (payments), and Resend (email delivery) — to operate. Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers' applicable terms where relevant.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that low-rating alerts or notifications will be delivered instantly or without fail.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qvently will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including lost leads, lost revenue, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe present a risk to the Service or its users. Unused event credits are handled per our Refund Policy.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Oinhuu LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Contact us
Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@qvently.com.
This is a general template and does not constitute legal advice. Before relying on it, have it reviewed by a lawyer, fill in your actual governing jurisdiction and registered business details, and confirm it matches how Paddle requires Merchant-of-Record relationships to be described.
